PRS' APPROACH

PRS coaches' combination of expertise in Physical Therapy and Strength Training enables the team to design preventative approaches for clients to keep them injury-free while training. For clients with pre-existing injuries or new injuries, the team assesses their movement patterns and identifies potential causes of pain or injury, getting to the real root of a problem that previously may have been misdiagnosed or mistreated.

Their hands on, practical approach to physical therapy, strength and nutrition programming yields results. Coaches adjust programming to meet the changing needs of their clients, recognizes potential movement issues and corrects them before they lead to injury and inspires those who work with them to be their best.

PRS' progressive and practical approach has helped elite athletes come back from injuries, weekend warriors realize ambitious goals and people of all activity levels and ages move more freely and get stronger.

William Brenseke

He is a:

Nutrition Coach
Certified Personal Trainer
Competitive Athlete
Performing Musician & Music Educator

William is a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Coach who has been providing private and group training since 2015. Will works with clients of all ages and fitness levels. William’s main goal is to help every one of his clients to look, feel, and function at their very best by designing programs specific to each individual. Using the principles of progressive overload and the most up to date scientific evidence, Will custom tailors his training programs to each of his clients with the goal of producing optimal results in the most effective and safest manner possible.

Will is a firm believer that optimal fitness goals go hand-in-hand with proper nutrition. He currently holds a  Nutrition Coaching Certification through Precision Nutrition and will be offering Nutrition Coaching at PRS as well. Additionally he is working towards receiving the Starting Strength Coach Certification with the goal of becoming a full Barbell Coach at PRS starting in the fall of 2018.

William is a competitive powerlifter competing in the USAPL as a 93Kg Junior lifter. He began his powerlifting career in 2017 with  USA Powerlifting Salute to Service meet where he took home 2nd Place in the 93kg Junior class. With many more competitions to come, William’s career as a powerlifter has only just begun. He will be competing at the USAPL Raw Nationals in October of 2018 on the PRS Power Team.

In addition to fitness and nutrition coaching, Will has spent a majority of his life as a performing musician and music educator. Working as both a band leader and side man, as well as in the classroom teaching students of all ages, has given him a unique perspective on what it takes to be a great leader and a great teammate. Much like learning an instrument, improving health and performance takes countless hours of hard work, dedication, self-analyzation, and a willingness to be critiqued by others. Having experience in both has taught Will valuable lessons about coaching others that he wouldn’t have normally received.

Even after all of this, the future still holds more for Will. His ultimate goal is to return to school to begin working towards receiving a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, which will allow him to work with a full range of clients including injury, soft tissue work, nutrition, and strength performance. The journey begins for him in the Fall of 2018, where he will be returning to school to earn the prerequisites he needs for DPT school.
